Trina was officially given a wheelchair to use which allows her to sit up straight! Getting her out of bed is like a miracle to us. She has not come around cognitively yet, but she is more focused on her surroundings. And just seeing her sit up gives us hope. We can only get her up once a day for about an hour because it wears her out, but we are excited to move forward in any way. Most people in this hospital are in a coma or have a brain injury similar to Katrina, so we appreciate every day she is breathing and making any progress!
