PATIENCE REQUIRED

We have heard the doctors talk about brain injury patients reaching a “plateau,” but had not personally experienced this until a couple weeks ago with Trina.  I reported already that we thought it was due to over stimulation when all the family visited, but then the last week she also had the flu, too.  Today, I realized that it might also be the fact she is not sleeping well at night.  We’ve tried a natural source and it is not working so tomorrow we will try a prescribed medicine for sleep.  Trina remains beautiful and peaceful, just complacent and not participatory as we had become accustomed.  This is where patience must kick in.  Please continue to pray for Trina that she will be able to move forward again soon.  Please pray for us that we will keep our hope on the miracle goal-line and not let doubt enter in.  For all of you that check in on Trina’s progress – God Bless You for caring.    Sincerely, Trina’s mom Sandy
