In the previous post I did mention a couple of “hopeful wants” for down the road when donations are not just about needs as we hope to make life as normal as possible for her…
However, in this post I want to say PLEASE know we are really trying to get donations going again. This time instead of making the donations to the site – it is our hope we can get Katrina to regular HYPERBARIC TREATMENTS at CHICO HYPERBARICS. We have heard great reports of anoxic brain injury patients having improvements from these treatments. Of course, they are not covered by Medi-Cal.. and receiving too much money by Pay Pal even if it goes 100% directly to treatments – she may be penalized from other services … SO if you are interested in helping, please contact me at 530-941-8360 and I will give information to pay the facility directly and can break it down as cost per treatment. Some may only be able to donate for 1 treatment and some can do more. We realize times are hard and yet it is crucial we are persistent and consistent with any and all ideas for treatments that may make a difference. Our desire is that Trina will become cognitive – even to a small degree – so that then other therapies could apply.
