We regretfully have to say that there have been no donations for the Hyperbaric Chamber for Trina “yet” … so that is on hold until there are. However, Brittany Hodges, helping with donation jars says they are filling up… so who knows?
We realize these are tough times for all, so we do trust God that He will lead those that can in His timing.

Other news: We are moving from Redding to Anderson to a larger home on 2/1 (in a very small place now!) that is more suitable to being Caregivers. It has the amenities we need and is safe for Trina. We do need prayers about the upfront financing for moving with Trina. It not only requires us paying a double rent (to the place we are in now, but also the one we are moving to) as we have to have the whole house completely set up before moving Trina. Then, deposits are huge these days as well. I feel like we are buying a home with the amount of cash needed just to move. At any rate, we appreciate everyone’s prayers in this endeavor. We must have all boxes, etc. put away without anything lying around or she can hurt herself. Her safety is number one! Our new challenge is that she is a little more fragile these days and wants to sit on everything, too, which can be very dangerous.
Our Blessing in January. My other daughter Carlyna and her fiance Scottie (both Nurses) came up for 3 days to care for Trina so that we could have a mini-vacation. Though short, it was awesome. Just went close by to the coast over at Trinidad. Inexpensive and beautiful. We couldn’t have gone without the generosity of my step-dad (who I call Daddy Kahuna) and my mom as they gave us a gift to go. Thank you family for helping us! This was our first vacation in almost 2 years. Anyone out there who is a caregiver also knows that little breaks are important to keep your spirits up 🙂
If any of you have ideas for us, we are always open. We did finally get Dental and Vision insurance for Trina as it is important to keep her teeth cared for…believe it or not – it is important to the brain! Issues with the mouth can harm the rest of the body! After our move we will start dental work, get new glasses for her and start up some physical therapy for about 6 weeks. It is going to be busy the next few months!
Thanks for checking in and God Bless…
Trina’s mom, Sandy on behalf of the whole family.
