The new drug Aricept is really helping Trina stay more active and smiling (full on laughing) a lot of the time.  This makes it harder work for us but WORTH it to see her have such joy.  She had a new feeding tube put in this month and that went real well.  She has a new friend come over a lot named Lexus and Trina just adores her!  We have had a couple friends over too that really capture her attention.  We learned she just loves olive and brown skin! Just makes her smile a big smile every time.  This is not a racist statement – she loves all types, but for some reason she is drawn in by our friends with extra color 🙂     The new house is working great for Trina…lots of room to practice moving around.  However, she is wobbly as ever and we have to really watch her every second.  When the weather is good we are going for daily walks at Anderson River Park and that is awesome.  Steve and I take turns pushing her wheelchair and make it great days out in the sun and rain.  We bought Trina thermal clothing and weather proofed clothing so that we could always get exercise with her.  It is great stimulus too.  She still does not talk but makes a lot of expression sounds.  Thanks for your prayers everyone.  Thanks for checking in, too.  I am attempting to finally add more pictures of our recent times…hope you enjoy.  Her sisters should be coming soon for a visit and I will have more pics then for sure !!!
