Hello from Trina and Family. We are getting a delinquent start to the New Year. Sorry for the delay in communicating but we’ve actually been busy with a lot of GOOD THINGS happening.

This New Year is a breathe of fresh air as blessings are coming – a turn around from our set back due to that horrible car accident in 2016 – consuming almost 3 years of our lives. But now 2019 is a happy place for us. Thank you God!!

Due to Trina’s condition her small settlement had to be spent on Medical Equipment and done quickly as the first attorney messed her case up so badly everything was in jeopardy. Thank goodness a new attorney corrected this mess but had to set it up for us getting her medical equipment / needs within a 30 day time frame. SO we were able to get her an electric lift for her hospital bed (since we lift her most of the time, this will be needed as we age) and a new WIKE for me to pull her on my bike as well as a new adult handicapped stroller for taking her on dirt paths for hiking in nature, so all of this is a blessing to enhance our caring for her and making things safe as well as more quality of living by getting outdoors more. Yay! The process was painful but the outcome in the end good.

We do hope to take more trips this year too. We also lost our Coast mobile that we had set up for Trina with a hospital bed after the car accident and now came up with a plan that when we travel – stay in one place like a week so that we can rent a hospital bed and enjoy the safety of vacationing with Trina. It’s already end of April and we haven’t gone yet but hopefully we can make a plan soon.

Another blessing is that Trina qualifies for Medicare and we have dental insurance for her (since she has to be sedated to have her teeth worked on) and with Medi-cal / Partnership as her supplemental, well we are getting better care for her this year. We are excited about this! Trusting God and being patient with His timing makes all the difference. We had to go through some very, very tough times yet once you enter a season of blessing God’s outcome is always amazing.

Thank you to those who check in and care. We still have daily battles so appreciate your prayers as that is how we see all the Victories too, so please keep us all, especially Trina, on your prayer list.
