Trina really has been surprising. She appears to be louder but in a different way. She is more focused. Whether it is when looking at us or others or the TV – her eyes are very focused and her expressions are so cute, always with a lot of laughter.

Her physical care is harder these days. Trina’s left leg likes to fully retract to an unnatural position so we have to watch this carefully. And of course the rest of her body movements are MMA like. I think she has a 6 pack above her feeding tube (LOL). But she looks super healthy. We implemented all organics many years ago now and it’s paying off.

We’ve had a few new people over recently who actually gave her attention, which makes our heart sing. Most people just ignore her. We realize this is hard for everyone and we are used to this new version of her…but it is just so nice to see others give her love.

If you are caring for someone else, please know how important it is to talk to those who are non-cognitive and just holding a hand – giving attention – and including them makes a huge difference in their inner healing.
