As we get ready to close this year, I have to say it has been a good year with our girl Trina. We are thankful for many blessings received in this year:

1.  Trina has recovered from the set backs of 2016 due to a car accident and we are doing her full exercise schedule with her again.
2. She looks healthy and is more focused.
3. She seems to have more Peace on her in her special care room (designed for her).
4. Her sisters are both having babies this year and that brings extra life around her.
5. We can tell that Trina KNOWS she is loved.
6. We can now hug her for a minute without her flailing and that is SO awesome!

We continue to seek more and more equipment to help our girl and give us all more quality of life by increasing what we are able to do with her. This usually requires customizing each item – which is difficult – but each time we learn more and develop relationships with companies. It all helps.

Our one prayer is that we could find an engineer that could design exactly what we want or need and that remains on our prayer list!

I want to encourage all of you out there to remember that just giving someone who needs care 10 min of your time (talk to them, hold their hands, and include them in the festive activities), this makes a huge difference. Even if you are caring for someone who cannot speak and you’ve been told they are like a baby (no matter what age) it still makes a difference as to what goes on inside of them. You will see slow but notable improvements over time just by giving love.
