Well, we are taking Trina in the pool DAILY now due to our triple digit heat! Thank goodness we can and she can.

A lot going on just being busy around the house, always working on making it better for the 3 of us since we are home 7 days a week. We do feel so blessed and so thankful since we almost lost everything when Trina’s accident occurred in 2010 and since about 2017 we’ve been able to rebuild our lives. Not one day goes by without thanking God and in our hearts thanking all of those who helped us when times were so hard.

Trina is doing good. The only item for continued prayer is that her bowels do not work on their own, ever, (suppositories or enemas daily or every other day) and she struggles to sleep (which keeps us up through the night on and off). Many nights she’ll makes loud noises and kicks the side of the hospital bed to where she thrusts herself upward (not safe) until like 3, 4 or 5 AM. During this time we have to be awake to be sure she’s safe and re-adjust her into a sleeping position. Aside from those issues she is looking healthy and so alert it just blesses us to see her this way. Of course it’s heart breaking that she still cannot obey one command and remains 100% helpless, but her clear eyes and smile show us she knows she is loved. That is the reward.
