Trina’s dad doing amazing now, so we are thankful for that. Trina still struggling. Seizures have increased and not sure why. And now for only the 3rd time in 15 years we think she has a UTI. We run our home like a hospital, so it makes us so sad that this can happen at all, but we’re on it immediately. Please pray for her.
Our biggest issue is that she cannot tell us what is going on. We never know if she is in pain. And she relies on us for security, safety and love so to have anything be off really bothers us greatly.
However, with that said – overall she remains A MIRACLE to us. Her beauty and smile and innocence takes anyone who sees her – takes their breathe away. And her big eyes make you think she can read your mail LOL. Few people ever really SEE her, but when they do they make those types of comments. Also, she is peaceful and happy and that is a reward to us as parents and caregivers.
We are currently looking for someone to help us minimally and maybe train for more hours over time, but it’s not worth it to us to go anywhere if we don’t find the RIGHT person, a caring person and able person to do things with care. Hard to find, so please pray for that for us.
The new move, though hard, was a good decision. We are in walking distance to family, a mile from the pharmacy and only 10 min to her doctors and hospital. Her new room has beautiful views, lots of light, and it is a perfect design for her care. Perfect! Brings peace to a mamas heart! (and dads too)…
Blessings to you all in this new year. Those of you who know us, thank you for praying and don’t be strangers. Say hi now and then. God Bless.
Sandy (mom and conservator and on behalf of our whole family)
