As you can see from this photo, Katrina’s eyes are still beautiful as ever. It’s hard to believe that despite her alert appearance, her brain is still sleeping. Friends and family keep asking us how Katrina is doing, but to be honest that is a hard question to answer. However, I will leave you with these thoughts… we are thankful that she CAN open her eyes, swallow food, make eye contact with us, move around in her bed, and even be pushed around in a wheelchair once a day.

We finally got approval for her wheelchair transportation! This means we can take Katrina anywhere in her wheelchair for an entire half day! We are planning on taking her this weekend to see the movie “Burlesque” in theaters. We can’t wait!
