Well, we had our first scare this month, which we haven’t had for about 8 months.  As you are probably aware – It is dangerous for anyone if they do not urinate within 24 hours; even more so for Trina in her condition!.  8 months ago we were ready to go to the hospital but decided to lay hands on her and pray first…and she released.  This time we tried everything to help her..water, water, water…warm compresses…etc….and then finally had to head to the hospital….this time forgetting to pray – we just raced there.  She was in a room and they were ready to do an ultrasound – then we remembered to lay hands on her and pray, so we did right then (it was midnight).  The nurses were surprised that she was almost empty and so were we !!!??? Well, she had urinated!  Yeah.  Just telling it like it is – as we are thankful for the miracle of her not having to have a permanent catheter!!!

YES – this is personal but those of you who check in must get REAL data so that you can join us in prayer for the things that matter…  Thanks for letting me “go there.”  🙂   On that note…

Trina’s bowels do not work on their own either.  We have to do an enema or suppository daily or at the very least every other day.  I mention this to just ask that everyone please pray that her entire system work again on its own.

Of course in addition to the body functions, our number one hope is cognition.  I am so glad for her smiles and that we can go outdoors and take her places but I want to KNOW that she one day can tell us how she feels and KNOW that she recognizes her family, especially her mama 🙂  little bias on that one (LOL).
