Trina is feeling better. However it’s too cold out now to do outdoor activities. I’d love to walk her outside for exercise or take her on a bike ride, but it’s just too cold out. So, we have to have our fun indoors. Christmas decorations are up and Christmas movies are on and that has to compensate. Either Steve or I will hold her hand and walk her around the loop in our kitchen so that we keep up the exercise and help restore her leg muscle damage (loss) during the 2 years after our car accident that took her backwards. Thank God we can walk her around again and now it’s about working on her muscles and ligaments, etc. (and getting her weight down a little as she gained weight during that time frame too). Overall we have only things to celebrate at this time of the year!!
With respect to the photo below of our sweet girl – someone recently asked me if the mark on her face in the pic was a bruise or a shadow. It is of course a shadow. I didn’t see it until it was pointed out. It’s still a cute pic of the sweet faces she makes 🙂
Trina will be 30 this month and we will celebrate. We’re having a party for her and have invited some young teens from the Bethel church to come. They live close and visited her and it made Trina smile and laugh so the party should be extra fun because of this. We’ve told you before that none of Trina’s friends ever come to see her and it makes us sad. We understand it’s hard for them since this happened at age 21 and they knew her differently. We just wish they knew they can embrace her and it will benefit their hearts. One day at a time and so we appreciate each person that is willing to see her sweetness and beauty.
Love, Trina’s Mom and Merry Christmas
